Roadtrip 2017 Fall: Vancouver - Seaside - Bandon - Calistoga - Sedona - Sacramento - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 7 - Bandon - South Jetty

Every year, the Greater Bandon Leatherneck Flying Turtle comes ashore here to lay her eggs. A master of disguise, the mother turtle assumes a number of clever identities to shield herself from predators. Here, we can see the pit she has dug for her eggs, and the amazing denim-like mucus she has used for her disguise.

In case you actually could park your RV here, forget it.

Bandon being Bandon.

Russ carefully prepping Emma's very complicated meals - she's eatinghuman grade these days - her campaign for real food has finally worked.
